A |     (ECNS) -- With more than five months to go before the Year-of-the-Goat Spring Festival, production and sales of festive goods at Yiwu International Trade City are already in full swing.    Yiwu merchants are seeing an earlier-than-usual surge in overseas demand for Year-of-the-Goat festive products, with the first batch of international orders already fulfilled this month.        Major bulk buyers from the United States, Vietnam, Thailand and Malaysia are placing large orders worth more than 500,000 yuan ($69,300) each ahead of October.    Meanwhile, local sellers offering thousands of festive ornament designs have already received inquiries and sample requests from clients in Malaysia and Singapore.    As Spring Festival gains popularity among growing numbers of people overseas, many Yiwu merchants are also introducing Spring Festival couplets and New Year paintings printed in English, Thai and Indonesian to cater to international buyers.    Members of the Yiwu Chamber of Commerce have also previously visited Hangzhou to learn operational best practices from leading cross-border e-commerce companies.                    。
